-  Implementing STPA, a 'systems engineering' based approach to process hazard analysis (PHA) and comparing it to HAZOP

-  Lead research and collaboration with 4 companies and multiple vendors in a $10-million project to shift to powder topcoat

-  Developed start-up & shut-down procedures and wrote standard operating procedures (SOP) for coatings and paint lines

-  Saved $10000/year for the company by identifying and replacing unnecessary chemical pre-treatments by scouting cheaper chemistries, testing them with multiple vendors, validating coating specs and implementing changes

-  Drafted Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping Diagrams and new process layouts for Coatings line using AutoCAD

-  Lead investigation of oil leaks in engines & troubleshot defaults in fixtures using Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why’s & DOE

-  Performed selection and sizing of filters, piping, valves and pumps, compiled quotes to prevent clogging of heat exchangers

-  Delivered technical presentations to internal and external customers, lead operator-meetings & conducted regular vendor follow-ups
