Never received a formal training in corrosion protection coating but interned as a coatings engineer for a major outboard engine manufacturer. Learned the processes involved, implemented control strategy, lead continuous improvement projects, Troubleshot major issues on the manufacturing line and saved $15000/year for the company.

Self-taught ChemCAD simulator to be able to research on membranes with Chevron-Phillips. Self-taught SuperPRO to be able to simulate bioprocesses.

- Process Engineering Expertise with Added Specialization in Six-Sigma Tools

Ability to perform time studies, statistical process control, 7QC implementation, FMEA while simultaneously delivering process engineering responsibilities of HAZOP studies, drafting of P&IDs, sizing and specification of process equipment and mass & energy balances.

- Strong Troubleshooter

Ability to breakdown, analyze, optimize and document processes. Understanding of tools like 5why’s, DOE, root-cause analysis, PFMEA and 8D. Troubleshot unexpected freezing of coolants at Hi-Tech Biosciences, performed root cause analysis on oil leaks in engine assemblies & corrected the defaults in alignment of automated fixtures at BRP. When my experiments in recycling waste polyethylene failed, I scouted technical papers, utilized DOE, modified the equipment by adding an insulated pipe & successfully solved the problem and completed the project. Tenacious, I have a tendency to deliver.

- Ability to Collaborate & Coordinate Efforts, Optimal Communication

Collaborated with management, procurement, hourly personnel and supervisors on a regular basis to communicate technical issues across departments at BRP. Collaborated with R&D and Engineering departments to review HAZOP sheets at JCI Oil Refinery, Hi-Tech Biosciences and GATE Energy.

Performed regular follow-ups with vendors to ensure progress on on-going projects. Worked as a sales intern for a marketing company based in Mauritius to polish interpersonal communication.
